"The Baseball Stadium" by Mya

My favorite place here is the baseball stadium. It is on Whitten Rd. I go there almost every Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 9 or 10:00 p.m. I go there to look at the Dominican people play baseball. Every Sunday the Dominican poeple meet there. It is very fun. I went to another place, but that is the most fun for me. I met many Domonican people there. The poeple there are very friendly and kind. I want to go with my classmates there one day.

I like this place because it is the only place here where I can meet with Dominican people. It is the most similar to my country here in Memphis. I feel good when I`m there. Every Sunday we do different things there like drink beer, BBQ, etc. A Dominican woman some Sundays sells patelitos.It is a Dominican snack. We enjoy that. At 9 or 10:00 p.m. when the game is finish everybody sits and makes histories of my country. Everybody counts your past histories. It is very funny. Everybody there is graceful. I like this place very much.
